You would be part of:

  1. Aerospace grade PCB layout designing to meet quick turnaround objectives for prototype and volume manufacturing for PCBs to be used in autonomous Unmanned Aerial Systems to meet global performance benchmark and standards
  2. Design symbols and footprint library for use in layout and central library
  3. Schematic entry and design entry
  4. Collaborating with design and software engineers to establish the requirements for the hardware development projects
  5. Proactively & closely working with mechanical design engineers to deliver tightly packaged PCB designs
  6. Establishing agency expertise and best practices to share with/elevate other layout designs in high voltage/RF layouts, EMI mitigation, and thermal management optimization
  7. Working on CAM Processes, gerber creation, netlist generation, centroid file creation, fabrication & components assembly processes
  8. Apply a manufacturing mindset to designs to effectively and efficiently mass produce products
  9. Documentation of all the design, development and testing activities

We expect you to be:

  1. Having excellent experience of any EDA / ECAD tool (preferably Ki-CAD and/or Altium Designer) 
  2. Well experienced in component footprint/library creation as per the industrial standards
  3. Having knowledge of various hardware components and its packages
  4. Having good knowledge of right components selection and BOM creation
  5. Well comfortable with basics  of electronics theory
  6. Having knowledge of best industry standards and also follow the IPC layout design standards in the layouting process
  7. Having good knowledge of PCB types, design and fabrication process at prototype level and mass production level
  8. Good knowledge of Auto Routers and Manual Routing techniques and best practices and also follow the IPC layout design standards
  9. Having knowledge of design for EMI / EMC considerations and compliances, manufacturability and test-ability
  10. Having understanding of Grounding, Bonding & shielding considerations in high-speed, high-power and high RF PCB design
  11. Having strong background with through hole, SMT, and BGA technologies using dual-sided assemblies, and multilayer boards
  12. Having Good soldering and board handling skills
  13. A self-motivated and motivating personality who can work well independently as well as part of a team
  14. Having good interpersonal and soft skills who can adapt to the work environment while manifesting a good positive attitude

You are awesome if you are:

  1. Have good experience of hardware PCB circuit designing
  2. Familiar with aspects of RF design in the circuits
  3. Familiar with hardware interfaces such as USB, I2C, UART, SPI
  4. Familiar with ARM/ARM/8051/Micro Controllers, RTOS, MEMS Sensors
  5. Experienced with large scale development, manufacturing and QA/QC

Selection process will include:

  1. Resume and submitted application based screening
  2. Further shortlisting based upon some factual information obtained via a short call or an online form submission
  3. A short time controlled online aptitude and/or skill assessment test (in some cases)
  4. Typically two round of interviews to evaluate on the following parameters:
    1. Past work experience and exposure
    2. Subject expertise and knowledge
    3. Aptitude, logical thinking and analytical skills
