You would be part of:

  1. Circuit designing and developing of printed circuit boards for aerial robots
  2. Generation and verification of schematics
  3. Identifying  selecting the right components and BOM generation
  4. Collaborating with design and software engineers to establish the requirements for the hardware development projects
  5. Proactively & closely working with mechanical design engineers to deliver tightly packaged PCB designs
  6. Simulating, testing and debugging of critical boards’ circuits
  7. Establishing agency expertise and best practices to share with/elevate other layout designs in high voltage/RF layouts, EMI mitigation, and thermal management optimization
  8. Managing your own layout requests, scheduling, and planning, and proactively communicating with the team to resolve conflicts
  9. Apply a manufacturing mindset to designs to effectively and efficiently mass produce products
  10. Documentation of all the design, development and testing activities

We expect you to be:

  1. Having excellent experience of embedded hardware design 
  2. Having very good knowledge of right components selection and BOM creation
  3. Well familiar with ARM/ARM/8051/Microcontrollers
  4. Having good knowledge of PCB types, design and fabrication process at prototype level and mass production level
  5. Having knowledge of design for EMI / EMC considerations and compliances, manufacturability and test-ability
  6. Having knowledge of various hardware components and its packages
  7. Having understanding of Grounding, Bonding & shielding considerations in high-speed, high-power and high RF PCB design
  8. Having strong background with through hole, SMT, and BGA technologies using dual-sided assemblies, and multilayer boards
  9. Familiar with hardware interfaces such as USB, I2C, UART, SPI
  10. A self-motivated and motivating personality who can work well independently as well as part of a team
  11. Having good interpersonal and soft skills who can adapt to the work environment while manifesting a good positive attitude

You are awesome if you are:

  1. Having knowledge of DFMEA, DFM, DFA and Derating analysis for electronic boards and components
  2. Familiar with aspects of RF design in the circuits
  3. Experienced with large scale development, manufacturing and QA/QC
  4. Having good knowledge of any EDA / ECAD tool (preferably Ki-CAD and/or Altium Designer)
  5. Having knowledge of IPC standards like  IPC-2221/2222/7351 etc.
  6. Familiar with high-speed interfaces like DDR2/3/4, NAND, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet preferred
  7. Also having prior hands on experience of CAM Process, gerber creation, PCB layout, component footprint/library creation, fabrication & assembly drawings

Selection process will include:

  1. Resume and submitted application based screening
  2. Further shortlisting based upon some factual information obtained via a short call or an online form submission
  3. A short time controlled online aptitude and/or skill assessment test (in some cases)
  4. Typically two round of interviews to evaluate on the following parameters:
    1. Past work experience and exposure
